Track the Right Habits
Habits are the invisible architecture of your life. They determine how you think, how you feel, and what you achieve. In the 5-Year Crusade, your progress begins with six high-impact habits—small actions that build momentum, sharpen discipline, and rewire your identity.
You’ll also choose two high-dopamine habits to resist. These are distractions or vices that drain your time, clarity, or energy. Together, your habit practices—both positive and negative—form the core of your daily discipline.
You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to track.
The Six Daily Success Habits
You can build all six or focus on a few. Each one earns points when completed:
Meditate (+1): Still your mind and reset your nervous system
Mindset Work (+1): Reframe beliefs and affirm your power
Prioritize (+1): Organize your day before it steals your time
Exercise (+3): Activate your body and sharpen mental clarity
Expectize (+1): Visualize and emotionally connect to your goal
Tracking (+3): Record your daily progress with clarity and honesty
Each completed habit adds to your daily score. Some are worth 1 point. Others—like exercise and tracking—are worth 3. All are powerful. Together, they move your life in the direction you’ve chosen.
The Habit Fast: Resist Two Vices
At the start of every 30-day cycle, you’ll choose two habits to abstain from—these could be:
Social media
Sugar
Alcohol
Streaming
Gossip
Video games
Porn
Emotional outbursts
Every time you break your fast, subtract 1 point. That’s it. No guilt, no perfectionism—just clarity.
This is called a “Habit Fast.” You don’t eliminate all bad habits at once. You simply commit to resisting two specific ones at a time. Over time, your self-control strengthens and your energy returns.
Each time you slip up on one of your chosen habits, subtract 1 point from your daily total. This isn’t about guilt—it’s about clarity and honesty.
How to Track
You can use:
The Crusader’s Tracker App
A printable scorecard
Or the Daily Planner page
Each tool shows your daily habit points clearly. At the end of the week, you’ll see how many points came from habits alone. This gives you insight into your mindset, your energy, and your consistency.
Why This Works
Most people try to build habits with emotion, hope, and streaks. This system is different. It’s measurable. It’s based on points, not perfection. And it trains your brain to associate effort with progress.
The more you track, the more you’ll grow.
