Your time is your most valuable resource—and in the 5-Year Crusade, every hour you give is measured and rewarded. You earn points not only for your habits, but for how you spend your time.
There are two types of hours that count in the system:
Job Hours and Impact Hours.
Each one plays a different role in your life. One sustains you. The other transforms you.
Job Hours: 1 Point per Hour
Each one plays a different role in your life. One sustains you. The other transforms you.
Job Hours: 1 Point per Hour
You earn +1 point for every hour worked at your job. That includes:
Full-time or part-time jobs
Self-employment
Freelance gigs
Studying (if you’re a student)
Any legitimate effort toward earning a living
If you work 8 hours, you earn 8 points. These points represent responsibility, effort, and stability. You don’t earn extra credit for overworking. You earn for showing up consistently.
Your job hours form the baseline of your weekly score.
Impact Hours: 3 Points per Hour
Impact Hours are where the transformation happens.
These are the hours you spend outside of your job, working on your long-term dream. This is time that doesn’t just maintain your life—it builds your future.
Examples include:
Writing your book
Building a business
Recording content
Studying a valuable skill
Practicing your craft
Designing a new product
Any focused work on your personal mission
Each Impact Hour earns +3 points. Why more? Because it’s harder to do. It requires self-direction, delayed gratification, and long-term thinking.
Your Impact Hours determine how fast you climb through the Crusade Levels.
Why Hours Matter More Than You Think
In this system, your progress is based on how many hours you give—habitually and intentionally—to things that actually change your life.
Most people don’t track this. They work all week, scroll in their free time, and wonder why nothing changes. You won’t be like most people. You’ll measure what matters.
